  • Ο Δίας, ο παντοδύναμος θεός, ο βασιλιάς των ανθρώπων και των θεών. Ήταν το έκτο παιδί του Κρόνου και της Ρέας. Κατάφερε να εκθρονίσει τον πατέρα του και έγινε ο κυρίαρχος του κόσμου. Το σύμβολο και το όπλο του ήταν ο κεραυνός. Ο Ήφαιστος τους έφτιαχνε γι' αυτόν. Καθόταν σε ένα χρυσό θρόνο στο παλάτι των θεών, πάνω στο βουνό Όλυμπο. Από κει, διοικούσε τον κόσμο. Αλίμονο στον άνθρωπο ή στον θεό που θα πήγαινε ενάντια στη θέλησή του. Ο βασιλιάς των θεών θα έριχνε τους κεραυνούς του χωρίς οίκτο.
