My favorite of many Steely Dan tunes that I like. They are such a great band that instills rock and jazz influences on many of their songs. Simply put they are great musicians who written and play great music. Steely Dan, released Reeling as the sixth track on their 1972 album, Can't Buy a Thrill. My drum cover is intended for educational, critiquing and comparative purposes.

@HansEgidius Thanks for taking the time to check out the drum cover and for your comments. I prefer my version. No disrespect to the other drummers. This is also the way I play it in my band it at works very well so I am not interested in copying anyone's style note for note.

great for a starting drummer, try to listen to actual track a bit more cauze jeff plays is ghost notes completely different.
if you are having a hard time playing it than it may be easyer to play the Dennis Chambers version.

@wayjammc Ha Ha !!! Thanks. You are right it is for fun. Besides I have better things to do with my time than to dissect every little aspect of what another is drummer is doing. Some covers I'll will want to be closer to the original drummer than others. It's a good thing for people to show their own style anyways. So I am with you....fuck'm....
