The students had surrounded the police and were chanting, "Let them go and we'll let you leave.", the students openly told the officers they would not be letting them leave. You're surprised you'd get pepper sprayed? UC Davis protesters get a 1/10 on this one. Way to be stupid guys and gals.

I can't believe the student said there was other ways the police could have gotten them to move. Watch the whole video they did everything short of saying pretty pretty please with sugar on top can you stop breaking the law. Those students should be expelled the officers a bonus and we all move on. This has really detracted from the issues and tried to become its own issue.

If you watch the full video instead of only what the media wants you to see for ratings you will see that the students were surrounding the police keeping them from leaving. The students were told that the protestors would be removed by "use of force", the students think it is a joke but then when they see the pepperspray bottle every tries to get bandanas around their faces (as if that would help). This mob was being run by ONE GUY!

They circled around the police and prevented them from leaving with the students they arrested. They were warned numerous times that they need to move. What more do you need? Those dirty hippies should of all got shot in the face with rubber bullets, then cry about something. Pepper spray last for like 30 minutes... take a shower.

@North2016 and another thing Rosa Parks was not only fighting for a rightful cause she did it correctly. She was peaceful and did not threaten the police. AND SHE KNEW SHE WOULD BE ARRESTED!! that is what Dr, Drew was trying to say, they go to break the law so they should expect to be punished for it. @North2016 YES!! at that time that was the law!! The person that did it was following the rules... it was the law that was unjust and that is why they changed it... In this case the protesters where surrounding the officers and threatening them as well as impeding them from doing their job!!
