I changed my rear wheel bearings on the 4runner,they lasted 180K To remove them you can just slam the axle down using the brake panel as a weight-they'll eventually come out(you probably already knew that) My toyo's got 310K,runs great!
Hey man. Which end do you slam down? Do you know of a video demonstrating this? I'm in the midst of replacing a wheel seal and figure I might as well do the bearings but I do not have a hydraulic press. Any tips would be great! 310k is great man. Mines an 87 and has 210k and still going strong.
