  • robert microsoft said having a table fan blow is couterating the air flow. It tries to push hot air out, your trying to push it back in.

  • @imnotbad9

Hot air comes out back, the bottom vent has no purpose other than letting air out, you can easily feel both vents for my proof, I dont care what MS said or what you said. My Xbox wouldnt last 10-20mins before getting a RROD, I keep the fan on and I didnt get another RROD for 6months, I decided then to sell the piece of paperweight, but point is, this works. This really is only for those who have experienced the RROD on their system.

  • @Robert941 And no hot air don't come out the back! the Fans mounted inside pull air in and the crappy airflow tunnle directs the air towards cpu/gpu then it leaves the sides

AND before you try say i on't know anything i got a xboxwith rrod, fixed it j taged it, never got rrod again, i have two other xbox's 1 elite 1 prem that sit's on top of each other..and Both of them have never had rrod and still running!

  • @urouk

Your comment is completely irrelevant to the video. And there is no fans that pull are in. Like I said, you can clearly feel the hot breeze coming out the back, don't be stupid.

  • so if you do the towel trick which lasts a few days if you did the towel trick with fans near it will it last longer

  • @thewizard773

Alot longer, but this might not be a permanent fix, I recomend this to people who havent had the RROD yet, and by now every1 with a regular old Xbox doesnt have a warranty anymore so you really have no choice but to do this, unless you pay to repair it, I never ecomend the towel trick though, it burns your system up, its why I got the E74 1red light problem after getting the RROD 1st

  • I had the red ring of death but have it repared, i change the termal paste and now have it like the video just in case, all i wanted to know how many hours can i play a day, ive been playing an hour, hour and a half top and let it rest for an other hour, and i been doing that a

  • anything you do to your 360 that is not authorized by Microsoft *including repairs* voids your warranty. but most people who fix it themselves do so because there warranty is up and they don't want to spend the time and money to have Microsoft fix it. but i say if you know what your doing and can fix it for little to no money then by all means do so.

  • 1- Place Your PS3 Where The Heat can Be Released from the Back

    2- Open Your Window

    3-Place a Mini Fan Near

    4-Have 10 Minutes Break every 1 Hour 30 Minutes
