  • i tried to download the orion setups but they would not download. Is there some trick to downloading them or what? Also, what kind of changes do you make to the SRF, because when I drive it, it has a lot of oversteer and the thing spins out all the time. Thanks

  • Hey Blackhawk, Well first off the SRF requires a lot of throttle on braking. You can see at times I'm using more then 50% throttle during the braking zone. It has what seems like huge engine braking and weight transfer. You tend to run a lot of rear camber on this car, more than you run front camber to make the back end a little more predictable. The Default Advanced set are probably about half a second slower then this time, but still capable of midish high 22's

  • As for the orion website maybe try using a different browser I'm not sure why it wouldn't work....

  • @JesusIsReal1000 lift off oversteer, keep the gas on a tad through your turns.

  • Does any one know why this car spins out all the time on me?

  • hi... on "orionraceteam" for Spec Racer Ford Setup, the folder is empty :( ...can you help me plese?

  • Shawn is from zeta reticuli.

  • Thats a sick lap :(

  • HOLY S#$@, nice lap. I appreciate you posting the replay, I need more seat time in this car, but you have proven to me I can push it harder then I am currently.

    Big improvement over the Pontiac

  • Thanks, I will try it.

  • Dunno why it's putting a space, but the folder is "specracer" not "specr acer".

  • Try right clicking on the link and doing something like "Save target as", and save it in My Documents/iRacing/setups/specracer. You don't need to open the setup files at all, just put them in there, and then they'll be visible from the "My Setups" menu in the garage. Let us know if you still can't get it working.

  • I have used both a mac and a pc and I can't download any setups. It asks me what I want to convert it to: a word document or excel document, etc, but none of those work. When you download them, what normally happens for you? Are you suppose to open it when you are in iRacing or something, or is that even possible?
