Conure being sweet with baby Parrotlets

Hazel, my Pineapple GreenCheek Conure working her way down the baby line. Seems she likes the green babies..

PS: I am aware of dangers of putting different species together, esp larger ones. However, they are always supervised 1 foot away & also Very Tame. Hazel has never bitten any bird in her 11 months, and she has met quite a few :)

@iloveanimals6991 That's sweet ur conure isvlikevtgatveoth u. It's normal actually cuz U are Remi's mate;). Are U positive Remi is a boy? I only ask cuz most pineapple greencheeks are girls( by the DNA structre of the parents that produce pineapples). Cuz that is total female behavior...makes are usually more gregarious with people. Conures are very social. But I'm sure ur flattered! :))).

@nynono Yup I file them if they get too long and scratchy but if I put in the rough concrete perches it helps file them down naturally.

When I got my conure, I let him preen baby mice and rats, he's naturally kind to other small animals which is a relief because I wanted im and I to raise a baby parrotlet

I was told that parrotlets despise birds bigger than them. Seeing this, I guess it just depends, huh?

@jxh0703 Awww, Hazel is SO CUTE!!! I also have a pinapple green-cheek conure. His name is Remi. He's pretty sweet with my two cockatiels, Lucy & Checkers, but, I have a question: Are conures more "one-person birds"? Because in my house, my dad, stepmom, 4 stepbrothers, and little sisters can't even come near Remi. He gets all puffy and bites really hard, but he LOVES me. We cuddle and watch TV together and I've taught him a few tricks, but he hates everyone else. Any advice?
