Hey guys,

If you've been following, your PCB should look like this. For the next tut, make sure have some sort of button for testing.

  • hey man howd you solve the battery situation? did you buy like the battery box thingies from DSE or use the orginal off the back of the pcb?

  • Hey man,

its completely upto you... I am using 6 D size holders, with 2 batteries in series, making 3 pairs, and those pairs in parallel.

This means that the batteries will last much much much longer than a standard set of AAs.

This is your first project? get the arcade stick working first, then worry about power.

  • HELP! Im trying to do the same... but, i dont undestand why you only use one point of solder in the butons of PCB. What happen with every ground of the buttons? My micros have two points, signal and ground... Im a big noob of that, i know ;P Explain pls.

  • do you know which controller type you have?

  • hey thanks for putting up these tutorials for us inexperienced noobs =) they really help- however Im slightly unsure about the resistors for the trigger buttons so It would be greatly appreciated if u could make a vid explaining how to do this

  • Hey bud,

  • I had a question. Since your only using one wire on the pcb for the buttons does that mean that the button should only have one wire connected to it to work properly even tho it has 2 possible connections?

  • Thanks for this vid. This has helped out a lot...

  • You kinda sound like Stewie from Family Guy, LOL.

    Good Tutorials man.

  • its more easy to get your directions from the analoguestick instead of soldering this crappy d-pad

  • wow, good idea. yeah its my first one, currently got all the wiring sorted and they all work, just waiting on the perspex to be cut 2moro and i can assemble the thing. the only thing i haven't solved was how i was going to put the batteries. cheers for the tutorials ay they really helped me with a few tips

  • great video man...im really itching to see the video where you turn the triggers into push buttons, cuase that's the biggest problem for me at the moment.
