  • @qwertyuiop645 I think if someone personally wants to play with that amount of intensity then all the power to them. I personally go hard no matter what the game. I'm the type of kid who lays out on the gym floor during intramurals. It's instinctual for me to make a big bid. But I don't expect my teammates to do the same. As long as they're being effective, working hard, and making plays..they can play however they want. I'd say I agree with both sides.

  • Nevermind, Sockeye is white

  • Who is who? Color?

  • man don't know had a great game :P

  • @qwertyuiop645 i think you´re right there; ultimate is a very special, and some kind of "harmonic" game. So it differs much from other sports (e.g. soccer (i´m from germany so i just have that example;))). However i think its ok that it becomes more intense and some kind of rough at a high level.

  • @xXcRENzXx I completely understand your point of view when it comes to competitive sports and an extremely high level of play, however I just really think it doesn't have to be that way. I hear people excuse the fouls all the time because "it's competitive, that's just the way it is." I always thought ultimate was different in that aspect, and it is, at any level of play lower than regionals. Maybe I'm being ignorant but it would have been great to see ultimate become the one sport that differs

  • @qwertyuiop645 basketball is non-contact too, but if you've ever played with serious people you realize how rough it can be. at this level, players are aggressive, ESPECIALLY on defense. contact happens a lot. personally, i've seen 3 concussions and a broken nose at one tourney, and in my time playing have torn both my right and left quad muscles, broken my left ring finger, dislocated my left sholder, and sprained my right ankle twice. high-level ultimate is very intense.

  • @schinhxh What you mean to say is "if only they didn't foul so much..." I could never imagine playing at this level. I was always under the impression that ultimate was non-contact.

  • AHH if only they did not call that many fouls .then the whole match would have been filmed

  • THANKS .I was looking for the video of open semifinals for like ages
