A Memorial to Sunny R.I.P. Honey 12/18/08

We just received Sunny, her sister Scarlett and a baby hen Charlotte from Florida on December 12th. Sunny was very sick when she got to us and was rushed to the vet who told us she was in critical condition and had a severe infection in her uterus and needed surgery ASAP. Surgery was scheduled for Monday, Dec 22nd, but she declined so fast, she needed to be rushed into surgery on Thursday, Dec 18th instead. Poor Sunny went into cardiac arrest on the operating table and the doctor was able to bring her back, but then she went into cardiac arrest a second time, and they weren't able to bring her back a second time. I am so devastated and haven't stopped crying yet.

sincerely i'm sorry for your loss but be sure she felt your love and caring even if was just for a few days, again i wish there would be more ppl like you that care and love their pets as family, as for me i have a beautiful white leg horn rooster, he's so spoiled and loved each day, indeed ppl always should care and love their pets.

I recently lost a chick that was only a couple weeks old. I got her from a flea market. She was beat up on by other chickens. I cared for her so much. I sang to her, and held her, and talked to her like she was my own baby. I feel so sorry for your loss as well.

I could understand if it was a dog or a cat, I used to have both. The cat had to be put down because of cancer, the dog because of age and poor health. But a chicken??? O.o I guess I just don't understand that.

one of my chickens Ivy passed away last month and i had no real way of saying goodbye to her...so i this was a perfect idea
sorry about sunny and that wonderful that you did such a good deed of rescuing a beautiful bird and giving her a good home for a little while :)

Im so sorry. i got lost my favorite chicken, and found your video next to mine. she had a large comb for a hen, she looked sweet. its too bad you didnt have her for very long

I feel SO sorry for you :( That chicken must've been a great pet :) I know that I raised ducks before, and they died because of being too sick and I wasn't able to cure all of them with my vast knowledge of medicine for both animals and humans.

She never had a chance to be a pet. I only had her for 5 days before she died in surgery. SNIFF But her sister Scarlett is a wonderful pet.

And how did I put my pet chickens memorial video on a page with dead babies? This is MY damn channel here on You Tube and if I want to post a memorial video in memory of MY pet chicken, then I can damn well do so! Nobody asked you to click on it and watch it.
