believe it or not I actually DISAGREE with MIchio on something: he categorizes civilizations by the power they control, type 2 controls the power of a star. Maybe a better form of categorization for how advanced a society is would be the level of EXPLORATION they are capable of, we have gone to our own moon and sent unmanned probes to other places, its possible for a species to explore vast areas of space but not be "powerful" per se like controlling the power of a star.

Michio kaku is the most interesting person in the world. ANYTHING that comes out of his mouth is interesting, I actually think he is incapable of not being interesting. If he TRIED to be uninteresting he would fail.
