Polaroid DVC-00725F Screen Test

Just got this nifty camera in the mail from woot! I tried it out taking shots of anything i thought would look nice in HD, i also want to see how the video file the camera makes interacts with youtube and if the "HD" version of you tube will kick on automatically. Comment if you have questions about the camera.

Does it always make that noise when zooming in on an object? What type of batteries does it take?

@GordonEdward Yes, if all is quiet, it didnt help that the sound was reflecting off the window i was shooting through. It has a rechargeable li-ion but it wont charge through standard usb, it has a special 3.7 V usb charger

can i use this camera as a webcam??

@gameroboSH on windows, yes if I am not mistaken, it comes with a cd of tag-along non-essential software that includes interfacing for webcams.

yeah, as a point and shoot its not bad, i was able to throw it in my moms hands when i got to watch a video of my car graduation present and it worked fine (except for the low light) if you want something really High quality, avoid this, if you want a small step up from a picture camera's movie feature, this is an OK substitute
