I've ridden 4257 the past two Fridays (11/27 and 12/4) and noticed that it was made up of II's and III's. I thought it was just a coincidence, but your description implies that it happens fairly regularly for this train. On 11/27, there were only two cars, probably because a lot of people didn't work that day, but one of them was Silverliner II 269 with "Pennsylvania" on both sides. On 12/4, one of the four cars was an ex-Airport car with 2x2 seating.

Exactly.

I see what you mean. However, I don't mind as much if a horn is actually in need of a replacement. I guess the problem is that CSX seems to like replacing perfectly fine RS3Ls.

Don't get me wrong I like them, but not when CSX goes around and replaces older horns with them.
-
I suppose. Then again, I'm not very picky about horns, so I probably would like a newer K5LA just as much.

Thanks, we're lucky that CSX didn't stick a new cast K5LA on 2620.

Nice vid. 2620 has an amazing K5LA!:)
Also, 257 is the car that had the fire on November 4. Was it back in service only 20 days later?

Oh, I must have typed that wrong, I meant 267, I think 257 isn't running anymore.
