I know it's comparing two characters, but to me Sephiran looks like the mirror image of Sephiroth.

Black Hair vs White hair

Wears White vs Wears black

Magic vs Sword

And yet they each wanted to destroy the world. But while Sephiroth went permanently insane, Sephiran redeemed himself (2nd playthrough).

I love how throughout the game, you're constantly told what a nice and wonderful person Sephiran is. Then in the Tower of Guidance, you find out that he started two wars and caused the death of thousands of people...

I feel kind of sorry for him. Actually does he has a heart of gold. I mean otherwise he wouldn't have saved Yune. Trough all that pain his hatred of the world grew. But somehow can I understand his feelings. He's just awesome. I hated to kill him on the first playthrough.
