  • @universetechnique the whole point is to achieve perception of depth.

  • @rigomrtsfx That video clip produces the same FLAT image as the first. That will simply create an ugly blurred image. To create a 3D video you need to combine two clips with the slightest angle offset which will produce a very similar flat image to the first but from a different angle. Think of it like an isosceles triangle - The two cameras are set up at the base of the triangle while the 'subject' is at the point. Those angles combined is what creates the 3D effect.

  • Why have two camera when you can move the same video clip just a little to the right or left. On the video edit studio using scale and crop. This is my great way later .Remember I was here.Thai

  • Better way to shoot is with a 3D camera like the Fujifilm 3D W3!

  • He is wright, but for a more detailed tutorial see: mivie3d.

For those, who have no glasses: you only need a mirror to make or watch 3D films, watch a mirror method video on my channel

  • Can i use sony vegas 9.0 to do this?

  • @kq4ym -- Thanks for that comment. I'll make sure to keep that in mind in the future event I every attempt to make a 3D Movie.

  • The making of 3-D explanation was not really accurate. It is correct that you need two camera, but you can also use a Minoru 3D camera that has two cameras built into one camera. The distance between camera lenses is from 2 1/2 inches for a subject about 7 feet away and will vary depending on how close or far the subject is. The offset of the two colors can not be too great or you will see ghosting. That means the subject distance can from near to far cannot be too great.

  • Sorry, that will not work. You always need two separate views from two different viewpoints to make 3-D.
