i lovd that statement about hope ur gf understands and behalf of all gamers I'd like to say that my girlfriend does understand and she loves the 3D screen even though she isnt into tech and gadgets or gaming.

@solarwile For that I recommend looking into a non glossy display though I don't think Dell has it as an option. though you can look into getting a Filter/Screen Protector for the M17x I have seen that as an option.
