The most oppressive and human-killing regime's have been when Atheists have taken over governments. Nevertheless, atheists claim that people of faith are to blame for mass amounts of people's lives being taken. This is not based on facts. In the past century, Atheism forced its beliefs on people of faith or simply slaughtered hundreds of millions of them.

Russian Atheist Government Atrocities:
The Soviet Union was the first state to have as an ideological objective the elimination of religion. Toward that end, the Communist regime confiscated church property, ridiculed religion, harassed believers, and propagated atheism in the schools. The main target of the anti-religious campaign in the 1920s and 1930s was the Russian Orthodox Church, which had the largest number of faithful. Nearly all of its clergy, and many of its believers, were shot or sent to labor camps. Theological schools were closed, and church publications were prohibited.

@Flyborg Atheism is the belief that there is no God, and there is no evidence that is is accurate or correct, atheism is the product of insanity and irrationality, skepticism is a good thing which is the reason many here on youtube left the atheist religion.

And a lack of evidence for God? There is plenty of evidence, if you had ever wanted evidence you would've found it in half the time it took you to make those comments, but I suppose all the evidence in the world wouldn't change your mind.

@Demon666Evil Just because Hitler claimed to be "Catholic" at one time does not mean he believed or practiced Christianity. Christianity is not just claiming a religion, but it's letting God take hold of your life. Many people used "Christianity" throughout history as a way to throw people off which is what Jesus Christ refers to as hipocrates or wolves in sheeps clothing. If you understood scripture, you'd not find rape, slavery, "etc" as being OK in the bible. Your ignorance is not bliss!

China had a totally different belief system befor the communists took over. Why the hell would someone indoctrinate a child with christianity in the first place?

If it has to be a religion, take a native version.

Or much better: Do not indoctrinate the child with any religion at all! Best solution in most places of the universe.
