Avril Lavigne Copied Bowling for Soup?!?! YOU DECIDE!!

One day, on Youtube, I discovered many people had put up videos comparing Avril's "original songs" to other songs by different bands.

Some were a stretch of the imagination and had little to no similarities. Others were very much alike.

For reasons I can't disclose, I found myself listening to a song called "Everything Back But You" by Avril, and within 10 seconds of listening to it I realized she had ripped off a song by one of my all time favorite bands, Bowling for Soup.

If you play the two songs back to back, you might surmise that Avril is a copy cat. Usually wouldn't annoy me, but when she copies a classic, beloved band I feel like I should expose it to the world.

Neither of the songs are very original (although I like them both). They're basic pop-punk, I bet if you tried you could find a hundred songs that sound similar.

im not a fan of avrils i love bowling for soup but i honestly have to say i dont think she copied them on this one. they sound alike but arent exactly the same. plus you only put in the beginning what about the rest of the songs.
