@ "blatant rip-off of Chopin" comments ... just to clarify, this song was originally performed as "Fred & George" and was originally about Chopin, so not so much a rip-off as a tribute. This song and others that he performed on an accoustic tour at that time never made it to record, but were rewritten and re-arranged for this soundtrack album. (Much as I like this album, it's a shame that the original versions will probably now only exist as a handful of live recordings.)

@Zoeylovekimmy They might make a difference between american cartoons. But if you mean within their own, they make the same difference as t.v shows for adults and children, the show is just labelled. The stuff we use to define genre is all about age range too(shoujo, shounen, Josei ect). But they don't call one of them animated and the other not, its the same term. It's not like American cartoons are just for children, they've become pretty all ages with a core age target just like anime.

@Zoeylovekimmy Actually, a ton of anime ported outside Japan are for the kiddies. Non-Japanese publishers are off-put by the subject matter and violence in the kids' shows so they release them for older audiences. Also, cartoons include shows such as Futurama and Family Guy, with subject matter definitely not appropriate for children.
Anime is just a term based on the English term cartoon animation, so it's not like calling one a cartoon would be wrong in the first place.

@GadGades I'm pretty sure that there is a difference between cartoons and animes even in japan. Its about the art style and the story line that make the difference between cartoons and animes. Cartoons are mainly only for children audience, to amuse them and entertain children sometimes even to educate them while animes got age marks like 18+ for violence corruption characters that look demonic and would inspire fear to audience under the age mark.

@Zoeylovekimmy which is exactly what a japanese cartoon is Ha he should have called it just a cartoon to mess with you. personally I call cartoons or anime both shows(or series) which eliminates all of that.
This one gives me showers and shivers, postively.
