Unfortunately, you point out the key difference between the Quaran/Mohammed and the Bible/Jesus. Mohammed preached violence under threat or duress; Jesus preached love and forgiveness in all situations. Jesus taught us to love our enemies, not to bomb their families.

first off, you try comparing islam to christianity in terms of how they're percieved, but:

1) christianity has been around longer and in far less developed times, so it's had more opportunity to be exploited for the killing and oppression of people than islam.

I see people do need to see videos like these more often as if it was a splash of water thrown at their faces. I do not discart the fact that Islam has a negative view through the world and the only ones to be blamed are us for stepping away from what Submitting to God is all about.
