Dakota Skye - Official Trailer

A Juno-esque dramady about a seventeen year-old girl who has a super power. Dakota Skye has the ability to see through any lie that is told to her. The truth appears to her much like sub-titles in a foreign movie. The combination of knowing the truth behind every lie throughout her life and the fact that she is seventeen has lead her to become bitter and apathetic. When Jonah, her boyfriend's best friend from New York, comes into town and doesn't lie, it shakes up her world and causes her to re-examine her own life. The movie stars Eileen Boylan (ABC Family's GREEK) and Ian Nelson (Bratz: The Movie).

man! i picked this movie on netflix thinking it was a great feel good family movie. you know cause the cover looks deceptively wholesome and dakota looks like a disney kid. but it was a surprise when i found out that it had smoking pot, car sex, gratuitous amounts of the fuck word. the cast sucked too especially the boyfriend but dakota was decent. decent movie for the budget but i was just surprised.
