a synaesthetic correlation between pitch and color.
a specific color linked to a specific note pitched over several octaves across a keyboard.
loosely based on Scriabins theory that each note in the octave can be associated with a specific color.

i like it. I don't know much about the Scriabins theory (and don't have time to look it up right now - I should be studying for my midterm) but I can relate to the video through my understanding of the spectogram. nice job.

thanks. glad someone actually took time to say something positive about this piece. this isn't meant to be a physics or science lesson, its art. however, if you had to break it down. longitudinal in reference to frequency of pitch and transverse in reference to color and image.
