  • Cheers Lee! I am finding your TB videos encouraging for me to finally attempt TB. Actually making progress.

My question to you though, can you make a video of or at least add a segment in one of your lessons as to how these riffs actually fit into 12 bars and chord changes. I am less than 2 years into this incredible journey, and still having a difficult go of applying licks, phrases and timing of said licks into an actual 12 bar backing track. Hope that makes sense.

  • @tahoemike00 Hi Mike (?), great to hear my videos have motivated you to try TB and even better that you are making progress!

Your question makes perfect sense. All riffs in this video are on the 1 chord. They will work right across a 12 bar blues progression but here they are intended to help your TB technique. Sounds like you need to watch some videos on how to play a basic 12 bar blues. There's many on YouTube, check out Adam Gussow or Ronnie Shelist.

  • Thank you so much Lee,

Your video helped me to get a step closer to Bill Clarke's killer 3rd position playing...

    Best wishes and regards,

    Stevie

  • @papnevelde That's terrific to hear Stevie, William Clarke is one of my heroes too! The next video will include a couple of moves that recreate his sound. Warm regards, Lee

  • 12:19 Very Cool!!!!!!!! Thanks for the Lesson

  • @leesankeygroup OK, understood about the 1 chord. I can actually play a across 12 bars and keep time, but with only just a coup eof patterns. So I wanted to hear what *your* riffs sound like across 12 bars. I'm an audible learner. :-)

  • Thanks again Lee. Good stuff as usual!

  • @arthur1062 Cheers Arthur, always appreciate your feedback. London Harps is starting up again in the new year at a new venue. Look them up on Facebook. 4th Jan. Hope you can make it along. Lee
