Berlin prosecutors said an autopsy Tuesday showed that the zookeeper who gained fame for hand-rearing the celebrity polar bear cub Knut died of a heart attack. (Sept. 23)

At the end the polar bear looks aggresive but incredibly happy at the same time. Such a sweet story, cute polar bear :(

@MChell87 Haha no. Knut is a very common name here in Norway. And obviously, since polar bears are predominantly in Norwegian territories, they wanted to give him a Norwegian name. It's pronounced "Knoot". And Germans know how to pronounce it - his handler did beyond doubt. It's just this stupid American broadcaster that can't do it.

that end photo, if you pause at it, is just amazing. because if you think about how dangerous and vile a Polar bear can be. and then look at that, that is a wonder of nature, and just utter magnificence.
