It seems that the takeoff was quite exciting due to the initial 10 seconds steep climb rate. Hope the guys at China Airlines, JAL, ANA, Cathay, etc buy some A380's because the whale jet, no matter what boeing could say, is the best ever heavy passenger jet built. I travel some times to Asia from MEX. With SIA from LAX, Korean from JFK and from LAX in October, my choice is no other than flying in A380. Very good! Stormy day at JFK? Cheers

@edvigo I completely agree with you about the a380. Im 6 foot 4 and the plane is extremely roomy for me. As for the weather at JFK. When we arrived at the airport it was really nice, no clouds whatsoever. As hours went by the weather drastically changed,and it rained a bit after take off. The flight was nice, and the landed was Extremely! Extremely COOl! We had a go around at frankfurt due to another aircraft on the runway. It was my first go around and pretty interesting to say the least
