This song (in my opinion) has one of the better bass lines from the Hendrix catalogue. Pretty fun to jam to.
It's definitely not the most faithful representation ever, but some of the parts are hard to hear. It works anyway... (sort of :P).
The bass is my 98 Fender USA P-bass, recorded straight into PC and EQ'd, compressed, and slightly overdriven.

@jesuschrysler123 true. I meant in general Noel and Mitch were a great backbone for Jimi, but honestly, Jimi seemed to always find kick ass musicians to back him up.

@mrdm93 bah. this guy rocked it. besides, Hendrix was great, but the Experience's songs wouldn't have been nearly as epic if it weren't for Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell blasting such awesome rhythms. certainly one of the most under appreciated rhythm sections of all time.
