Oh my gosh, I so have this with me and my dad. It is endlessly easy to point outward and to get lots of people on board with how right I am, too. Even when I'm feeling my feelings, often I remain focused on thoughts about how he isn't how I want him to be. Such a subtle and useful shift in focus that you offer here. Thanks. :) xo
Hi Scott, great point!:) If focusing on 'the other' is what's happening, how is that not just as good as focusing within? Authority is what favors one over the other, isn't it. Freedom doesn't care. Not cherishing perspectives seems to render all pointing problematic, as it either acknowledges the perspective at hand (redundantly), or it tries to shift it to another one (authoritatively). So what are we pointing to- that which already is the case, or that which it should 'ideally' be?
Just finished after taking a break. Indeed, "If I see through this... who will I be?" I've carried around my jealousy my entire life and its a frightening question.
I agree with Anshu. Fantastic video. I often see others as strong and confident and me as weak and suggestible, and this video both reminds me that I'm not necessarily alone in having feels of doubt or inferiority around other people. Not sure if that is what you're saying, but nonetheless it reminds me that I'm not alone.
This video is like the most beautiful music I have ever heard or ever will.

This is the most touching of your videos - at last my heart sings - not just an intellectual understanding - love Anshu
