Return to the Girl in the Picture - Vietnam

The famous Vietnam war photo titled 'The Girl in the Picture', is a remarkable picture that symbolises the horrors of war, and the effect it can have on innocent civilians. The victim Kim Phuc, suffered life threatening napalm burns after a South Vietnamese aircraft bombed the village where she lived with her family. Fortunately Kim Phuc pulled through, after undergoing many years of tortuous surgery.

Finding the location of the famous war photo was one of the main reasons I had for travelling to Vietnam.

Its not a swastika. Its a budist symbol which actually means "peace" and "hope" It was adopted by the Nazi party in reverse and tilted to the side, so it is not the same.
