The video is great. One problem...if you had the chair a long long time, a rubber mallet will NOT work (after you use a BIG pipe wrench to take the base off) I used a 2lb hammer and had to beat the crap out of it to get the old one out. But all in all a GREAT video! Thanks!!!
Great video, thank you! I tried to get away with using a vice-grips instead of pipe wrench but didn't have enough torque. Borrowed an 18 inch pipe wrench from the neighbor and the cylinder came free without much effort at all.
Terrific video. I did it. But.....I had to pound the hell out of the wrench to get the old cylinder to give way. I torqued in one direction and shifted directions until it loosened up. Thank you!

What about the T-15 torx bit? I guess if nobody noticed and just used the 5/32nd Allen it doesn't matter. Otherwise good video, clear, informative.
