New Delhi: The Supreme Court today said the government has to decide within three months whether or not to give sanction on an application seeking prosecution of a public servant under the prevention of corruption act.
The apex court said this while allowing a petition by Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy saying Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was sitting on his application seeking sanction for prosecution of former telecom minister A Raja for alleged involvement in the 2G scam.
