  • What you are saying is a SOFTWARE sequencer.

The one shown in the video is a HARDWARE sequencer, in this case included as a module in a synthesizer.

  • Dude...A sequencer is something taht does what the name says...it is a player of sequenced events..this case being a hardware sequencer that tells the synth to play the sequence of notes defined by the knobs...it is there for a sequencer

  • Classic - proper analogue gear - love it...

  • is there quantizing of the CV to achieve such pitch control? or is that his touch?

  • Okay, so it shows how Jarre made most of his first two or three albums. I've been contemplating an analog modular synth such as the fantastic Cwejman; nonetheless, as cool as it sounds, the concept of playing with 8 step sequencer and changing chords with one finger on a keyboard is the same concept as playing a home keyboard. So, is buying a modular synth with analog sequencer an excuse not to practice keyboard chops?

  • Groovin', man!

  • Love analogue sequencing so much more hands on.

  • @rformidable You got more feeling over what happens.

  • @cm2dude DAW = LOL!

never in a gazillion years will they manage to reproduce analog in the truest analog-ness......

and this is coming from a synth geek who lives with DAW's and analogs...

    i'll always prefer the latter..
