Court 13, our community filmmaking collective in New Orleans, runs an after school program that teaches acting and moviemaking to the 19 kids (ages 8 - 12) who successfully auditioned to appear in our next feature film, "BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD." This is the Thursday class's own short movie--based on the kids' own ideas, inspired by their setting at Charles J. Colton School (which was shut down after Katrina).
"The Big Hide-and-Go-Seek" is told in flashback by the guests of a talk show, who are piecing together the mystery behind the longest game of hide-and-go-seek ever... Starring Alexis, Kenneth, Larielle, Margot, Saida, Tione, and Wynton.
