Anderson Silva not fighting Lyoto is the same reason why Ryan Bader wouldnt move up to heavyweight to fight Cain they're friends.

silva and lyoto train together so they know each other weaknesses well and thats why fighters keep changing their sparring partners so if the fight happens it wont be intresting neither gsp vs anderson will be intresting it will be 5 rounds anderson on his back boring gsp fight

Another thing is they all want to claim to be "professionals" and from that standpoint they shouldn't have trouble being "professional" and fighting eachother. What if Silva is never beaten? Lyoto is in the same weight class so if he ever wants to be champion he has to fight Silva sooner or later
