I think Janie Taylor is the best ballet dancer in America. Every time I see her I am transfixed.

at 1:31, you can hear the sound of my heart breaking. Beautiful.

brilliant...

The music is Piano Etude No. 2 by the legendary Philip Glass.

@massivevan -- There supposed to be that way sweetheart. The form fittedness of much of ballet wear is meant to capture the art of the body itself, additional to the dance.

did any one else notice that her leotard was really see through... im sorry but that was really distracting. but other than that she is an absolutly beautiful dancer.

What's the title of this music?

They're so synchronized, as if they were one. Beautiful!
And great choreography. I like that the male dancer not only work as a helping hand, but actually gets to dance. And the lifts, especially at 3,14 and 3,26 - love it!
I think I understand this piece. He's a life insurance agent, and he's trying to entice her to buy a policy. She expresses the fragile impermanence of life, thus conveying her disinterest in buying a policy, and he switches gears by trying to make a date with her.

The LINES on that girl are so acutely articulate, it's painfully gorgeous. When she hits that attitude-BAM-spot on the music, i know it's time for more technique class and practice(for me). Dancing like that inspires me to try however hard & long it takes to attain that nuance and beauty of control.
