@AICabal On the other hand, there are shows that have gone for a long time that have remained fresh by changing things up a little bit. M*A*S*H, for example, kept fresh by having their characters mature and by changing from a comedy with a dramatic edge to being a drama with a comedic edge.

@adamscott Nah, the best sitcoms run just long enough then stop to become classics. None of this 2 pints SHIT that ran/is running still in it's 20th season.
