Today at 5:15pm, our precious big girl was laid down in the orchard to rest.
My mom and I had gone to the pound one day in October 2004 to get a kitten, and when we saw this dog was mere hours away from the needle, we knew she had to come home with us. She's been nothing but the best dog anybody could ask for in the short 7 years she's been with us.
She fell ill and was suffering, so the decision was made. Rest in peace, big girl. We love and miss you so much.
