The Conservative / Liberal Democrat coalition government want to entice people to recycle by giving them rewards for doing so, unlike New Labour's plans which were for fining people who did not recycle - which was no incentive at all.

Recorded from BBC 1pm News, 07 June 2010.

  • this is basic psychology. reward good behaviour ignore bad! new labour were too thick to grasp this concept. new labour's nazi style 'spy and punish' theory is being pushed aside, thank god.

  • I have nothing against recycling but I wish the binmen would take my maggot infested, fly attracting, stinking heap of rotting organic matter that is my non-recycling bin more than once a fortnight.

Maggots, maggots everywhere ... it must be a British summer!

  • my family has been recycling for yrs taking it to the recycling centre , but with the way they do it now & spy on what waste people have I bet it wont be long before I get a letter saying we are being fined because we are not using the waste recycling bins provided

  • tip for all you paper recyclers = just add water.

high street shop or Massshopping centers
