Stoneycombe, a valley of mines and quarries, with big engines like Jenny Frugal, the Garratt, & little engines like Thomas Ernest, a 0-4-0 Well tank.
This is not a copy of a prototype, but a struggling narrow gauge enterprise working in a garden landscape, with trees, small flowers, streams, waterfalls, and cliffs.

  • Hi MHLR, yes track is 45mm, & it would look large as it is 1/12th scale, so to be dead accurate the track would scale up to 21 .75 inches, & the K1 ran on 24".. the Garratt is 33 ins long. Thanks for your comment, cheers Don

  • I too have enjoyed your G Scale Central stuff plus desriptions, I wonder where you are up to now with all this good weather. JD&co

  • I've enjoyed your printed stuff , but seeing your railway in action !! superb. Ienjoyed it immensely

  • Nice interesting railway, I like the steam etc, very nicely done! Is the railway 32mm gauge or 45, as I see some LGB stuff but it looks slightly large on the track?
