What kind of pick do you use?

@lmlopethlml I use the Dunlop Jazz III Xls. Red or the black ones depending on my mood. Lately it's been the red ones.  Thanks for watching!

It was done through my firewire interface into imovie HD. The sound was run through ableton for processing. The pitch is actual.

Without being able to see your bass maybe the pickups are out of balance. I play my big 8 banger on a small Peavey practice amp and it works fine. Set the pickups as close to the strings as you can get them without the polepieces (if you have them) clacking against the string. I hope this helps. Thanks for liking my work (in progress)

If I had your ability and musical mind, I'd ditch the bass and switch to guitar. Hard to imagine how bass solo music pays the bills these days with the music industry being so messed up. How the heck does someone playing this kind of stuff make a living these days?
