  • Tommy Shaw is one of the best vocalists ever and still is incredible in his 50s

  • You Ted haters don't get it...He is "Gonzo" he is the Motor City Madman, he is what he is. And Jack, Tommy, Michael AND Ted are Damn Yankees. Trust me, they know what they got with Ted and trust me again, they wouldn't trade him for nothing and he doesn't bother them one bit.

  • come on man it's the Nuge man. They all rock in there own right! I can't wait to see Styx REO and the Nuge in May!!!

  • Ted Nugent quote........."before you grill it.........you gotta kill it."

  • I was soooo glad that DY were successful at a time when Grunge was king & hard rock wasn't. Pleasure to see these brilliant & durable artists suceed at a time when their genre of music wasn't as successful.

  • Ted Nugent acts like a fucking idiot in this video, and ruins it...

  • @stevenkh1 And for that reason alone is why the Damn Yankees always put on a kick ass show! So awesome to watch them enjoying entertaining us!

  • @tpowell453 Dude, what video were you watching? Ted was just going with the flow and rocking his thing. Relax and smoke a joint or something, you're wrapped WAY too tight!

  • Love these guys!

  • @tpowell453 "That’s what he does every time he gets on stage. (laughing) That’s Ted Nugent...With the Damn Yankees, that’s really fun, because there were no egos there, nobody was trying to outdo the other guy or anything like that. All we ever wanted to do was be the best that we could be, and we just got together and wrote all those songs, and then got up on stage and started playing, and let Ted do his Ted thing. I wouldn’t want Ted to calm down one bit."

    - Jack Blades, 2010

  • @smitchix Tommy Shaw still has the Damn Yankees III tapes they did before they were unceremonious dropped by Warner Bros (as was Van Halen and other acts Warner Bros considered "oldies"). What's holding up a reunion is, Cartellone is in high demand as a drummer, and the other three have had their own groups they record/tour with (Styx, Night Ranger, Nugent).

  • @tpowell453 Not at all - Ted makes the show FUN! And you can tell those four guys truly love and admire each other and their talents. What a great band!
