Great job! Darn, she beat me by 5 years. I memorized the Derby winners at 17, more than 30 years ago. I was reciting them along with her. One of the highlights of every year is adding the new name, shortly after the Derby.

I've put that on display many times. My favorite was in the Kentucky Derby Museum in'82, back to the silks. A small crowd gathered.

The key is remembering the first one in each decade. Like if someone asks 1912, I immediately default to Donau, then think Meridian and > Worth

I cried when i went to the derby and saw eight belles die I t was sooo sad. She was such a great horse and she did soo well. RIP Eight Belles
