I not sure that this is thick policing. I think it's more of a reflection of the way the state is clamping down on peaceful protest.

The police acted inappropriately. The activists were brave voices against animal cruelty and should be applauded.

It is not our decision to have altercations with the police... in this instance the custody sargaent refused to authorise her detention because the "law" the CHIEF INSPECTOR used did not exist...
