Minnesota Made Playground

After nearly two years, residents of the North Loop neighborhood in downtown Minneapolis, Minn., have a new playground on which their children can play. The playground is the first and only located on parkland along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, and is a welcome addition. A local parent organization had been advocating for the playground to meet the growing trend of young families in the area. To set the project in motion, they worked with the Minneapolis Park Board and Landscape Structures to create a unique design.
