@Celmak1 also i'd like to state on record that I find your request not to dare question or heaven forbid be dismissive of an ivy league graduate in sociology laughable... to state that I mustn't question an expert due to their standing is outright fascism... can't you see that? it's exactly like this fascist left shit... agree with US or YOU are fascist or racist or whatever the new word on the block is... like the EU anti EU = fascist nationalist lmao... it's exactly the same, dangerous road...

@Celmak1 come on dude - have you no answer? i was expecting you to come back to me with just how wonderful the education system is in america... that 8 of the best universities are in the states etc etc, lmao do you really think that is true? think about it lol shouldn't take long to realise that it's bollocks! my original comment wasn't even that harsh mate - you've a nerve to jump on it the way you did - then claiming I have a nerve to dare question an ivy graduate? they teach you to be thick!
-
@Celmak1 in fact if you are 'Ivy league' educated then my inclination would be one of miss-trust! anyone with any semblance of education (I mean a real education), would know that those league tables are sheer fabrication... whatever anyone says the american education system 'sucks' in comparison to the english system of old! I don't care how many 'nobel prize winners - they engineer'! I didn't dismiss her message, I merely objected to her not answering that question - whether she's Ivy or not!?

@Celmak1 well off the top of my head - a colonist is simply someone who moves to a new area - ie: to colonise or to join a colony (a newly established land) whereas a colonialist is something very different - it is someone with the intention/motive to form a colony of settlers in new lands - so colonialists are the masters and colonists the mere subjects who move there - quite simple really! you have some nerve to assume that as an englishman I give a damn about whether somebody is Ivy league?!?

I was born there in Cyprus during the 1974 war as a 15 year old boy. I went through all and a lot. My thoughts on this unification of Cyprus between with North and South it's possible but: There has to be efforts to show the reason and the benefits of unification. My and older generation has terrible memories about the war that can get in the way of permanent peace and harmony and the wholeness of the Island. If United states unified with 52 states, so can Cyprus. :-) with 2 North n South.

learn from the past... make actions for a better future
you are all the youth....
The girl is right. The people that were driven to abandon their places on East Turkey to inhabit the North Cupriot lands were just people, turkish GOverment used them so as to change the balance of the politics on the island. But is correct to say that all that happened in Cyprus was an ethnic clearence of the Northern part. Turkish army killed many and forced the rest of greek cypriots to move to the south and replaced them with tuskish people from Anatolia. These actions should be reversed!!!

I assume Israelis will point to the danger of suicide bombers as the reason for preventing those 6 people from riding the bus.
