Fake Druids Exposed on Hill of Tara

On Oct 22nd 2006 and theatrical group of charlatans lead by Gina McGarry, Melvyn Lloyd and Michael McGrath attempted to 'raise' an Archdruid of Tara over the people of Ireland. Their efforts were formally challenged and exposed as false by Peter O'Connor, Chief of the Clans of Ireland. Peter is seen with the 'crown' which he seized from McGrath who was going to have himself 'crowned' High King of Ireland. Since 2006 many have stood up to the false druids and exposed, in the case of McGrath, connections with unsavoury groups. Read more about McGrath here. One of this lot used to be sniffing around Stonehenge frequently. It makes me laugh, it seems more like role playing than real belief. Everyone it seems has to be an archdruid or a high priestess,wear mock medieval garb and have a long beard or dyed red hair! I have nothing against druids per se but there's an element that just says 'oh look, I'm special.' Good on Peter!
