Filmed in high definition, the college and young adult group from Morningstar Christian Chapel entered two teams in the 2010 World Famous Mud Run at Camp Pendleton Marine Base near Oceanside California. Over 5,000 runners ran in one giant heat on June 12.
Individual runners started 20 minutes ahead of the 5-person teams, but it runs into one big muddy mass of humanity after a half hour or so.
We entered one guys team and one girls team - each team has to complete the 10k (6.7 mile) course through some serious water and mud obstacles with Marines jawing at them along the way. Teams have to cross the finish line arm in arm together.
It was as much fun to film it as it was for them to run it. Actually, I'm pretty sure I had more fun filming them and was way less beat up. I did get splattered a lot though. Tough job but somebody has to do it.
awesome video... i ran this year too.
how did you guys so much good footage throughout the whole run?

@csrod82 Lots of fun! I filmed the start, hustled to the 2nd mudpit, filmed, and then hustled to the last mudpit before the finish line.
