Which is the True Prophetic Line: Ishmael or Isaac?

Muslims believe that Ishmael should be included in the prophetic line, yet it is clear from the Bible (and a certain aya in the Qur'an, S. 29:27) that there was only ONE line which God would work through, and that was the line of Isaac. To understand this, one needs to look at the discussion Abraham had with God on the issue of Ishmael and Isaac, in Genesis 17:18-21, and God's clear and unique choice of Isaac in Genesis 22:2, 12, & 16. This clear choice of Isaac over Ishmael and a brilliant application of the difference between the progeny of both is best explained by the apostle Paul, where he says categorically that we are to have nothing to do with the slave woman's son, Ishmael, for we are from the free woman's son, Isaac, the son of promise (Galatians 4:21-31).

For all those that claim Qur'an to be inspired by the Devil, it does not have any characterists of such a revelation. Only through the Qur'an have such a multitude of people ranging from Black and White, Egyptians, Turks, Indians, Malays and the many more have been united under 1 banner of pure monothiesm. Jews have had very little impact of such nature and christians since beginning have been fighting over th simplest questions of Jesus' and God's nature. Qur'an has been revealed to solve this.

not all the prophets from the line of Isaac, because Adam, Enoch, Noah, and Shuaib, Sauli, Hud all came before Abraham. Lot was also a prophet along with Abraham. God is unlike humans who will reject without a cause. After all God covers all, created all. In your bibles since you have so many of them, you will find God calling Ishmael the only son of Abraham. A first child is always, especially when he didn't sell his birthright like the son of the deceitful woman.
