Peace Rally. Denton Texas 2008

On March 28th, 2008, students, activists, and concerned citizens from all over Texas gathered at the campus of the University of North Texas and marched to City Hall to peacefully protest against the war in Iraq and the University's refusal to acknowledge their fight for peace.

The organizers of this protest would on to form the first Denton Texas chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)

And yes, that monday is finals week, not my decision, but many people will not have finals, or at least not all day, and this is just going to be one of many MANY more protests throughout the year. The key thing is REGULAR action throughout the year.

We do it for all human beings. Troops just happen to be one sector in society we support. Tommorrow night for example we have Colonel Ann Wright coming. We hold dialog with anyone willing to have conversation- ie you on your computer while you son has been lied into war.

Please site United Aid NOT SDS- SDS did not organize this. United Aid organized this & I brought it together in from it's inception bringing in key people. Some organizers did join SDS. Some did not. SDS ended up being a socialist infiltrated organization which didn't represent peace nor truth. United Aid is a peace organization. One reason why I spoke out, and was retaliated for my opinions and views.
