@ho33es Yes they can, they can even feel the difference between tires with 90% tread and 80% tread. I can feel the difference between AKA and JConcepts foams with the same tires and wheels, it's not that big but there is a difference.

i'm no pro driver, but can you really feel the difference in tire foam when one is just a nudge softer? I know that it looked like one was much stiffer, but in truth, as long as one is less stiff, the other shouldn't have to bend, so as far as we know, the stiffness change is very mild. But do pro drivers really feel that difference? If so, i think i need to hit the track more.
