@stefanisawesomer oh yea. 4sure. the generation b4 me had pete rock, premier, and large professor, etc. my generation.. i definitely put dilla, madlib, and flylo as the dudes that set the bar. i dont hate kanye for the fuck of hating kanye cause of being commercial.. im a big kanye fan.. but he himself knows he cant touch an inch of these three's catalogue. people bugged out when they came at me saying "DID U HEAR THE DARK TWISTED FANTASY ALBUM. WOW" and id be like.. dilla did that a decade ago

@stefanisawesomer definitely. they ushered the 90s raw hip hop into the electronic / free form beat making we're witnessing today.. not to discredit other guys like dabrye, prefuse, daedelus.. i just grew up to those three (dilla, madib, flylo) that's why i put them as my top 3.
